Marvel Studios has unveiled the new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, the upcoming film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Directed by Shawn Levy, it will be the third film in the Deadpool saga, the first produced by Marvel Studios after the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company. Wade Wilson/Deadpool will once again be portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, alongside Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine.
The rest of the cast will include actors seen in the previous two films (both available on Disney+) and some new ones: Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Rob Delaney (Peter), Stefan Kapičić (Colossus), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio), Lewis Tan (Shatterstar), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Matthew Macfadyen (Paradox), and Emma Corrin (possibly portraying Cassandra Nova).
The film is also expected to feature other characters from the X-Men movies, as well as Jennifer Garner’s Elektra. The plot will see Deadpool dealing with the TVA (seen in the TV series Loki) and the multiverse.
The first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, which debuted during the Super Bowl, set a record, becoming the most viewed trailer of all time in the first 24 hours, according to Marvel and The Walt Disney Company.
